It was probably Cleo, though the dates for Cleo are a little earlier. '64 was a really active year. Following Cleo was Dora and Ethel.
Cleo went right up the East coast. We had our street flooded. Seems strange that the street would be flooded when there was a canal on both sides of the street, but we got out the tandem bicycle and took turns pulling a water skier on a body board up and down our street. There were a few strawberries on knees and elbows that day. I remember that I caught hell when I took off during the eye up Minuteman Causeway with my bodyboard and bicycle to check out the surf at the ramp. The waves looked like stairs going way out, and you could only see the top half of the big outside break that must have been at least 20 feet. An awesome sight. I remember that it was real hard to pedal back home against the wind.
