I would have been a graduate of the Class of '68, had I in fact, graduated. I was (deservedly) "asked" to leave CBHS in the spring of 1967.
I enlisted in the Marines in August of 1967 and in RVN by year end. I was trained as an 0331 - Marine-talk for machine gunner. I returned home in July of '70, a 20 year old buck sergeant. I had taken my G.E.D. while in the service and enrolled in Cal Poly in September of that year.
I received my BS in behavioral science and eventually started a consulting business. I wouldn't trade my time at CBHS, or my time in the Marines for anything. Artie Olcott (CBHS '68), is also a Marine 'Nam vet - we actually were able to communicate over radio while we were both in-country. My cousin Scott (CBHS '69) still lives locally - Vero Beach & we stay in touch. Regards,
