Hi, Toby! It's great to hear from you!! YOU are a mosquito beater if you were raised in our little ole community, and since I know you lived there during high school, you qualify!! The old and young alike gather in Cocoa (Village, as they say now) on Friday night and enjoy each others' company talking and munching, if you wish, but you won't have time to munch 'cause there are too many old friends to talk to, and then on Saturday, they gather on Kiwanis Island on Merritt Island and eat some more, this time it's a meal kind of cafeteria style but more like picnic food (not fancy at all) and people come in shorts, etc. to see each other again! I saw Henry Minneboo, who I dated in jr. high, and all he could say was "Damn, girl!"!! He was smiling, so I guess that means he thinks the aging process has been kind to me or something! I laughed so hard!! Guess he headed up the roads dept. for the county for a long time. Anyway, last year it coincided with the reunion for the classes of '64 and '63 from CHS, and I went with my sister, Susan, from the class of '63, so I had a fantastic time. I hope you can come this year. If you do, please point yourself out to me, if you recognize me, or ask others if I'm there, ok? Tommy Zimmerman told me in a recent email that he's moving back to Cocoa. Haven't heard if he'll be there or not.
Tell me about you!! Where are you, whatcha doin', who you're married to, kids and grandkids?? I think you'd enjoy this little reunion, since it encompasses everyone, all ages, old teachers etc., I saw Mr. Eschbach and Mr. Tornabene there last year! Did you start out in the Satellite Beach area? Can't remember details, if I ever knew them!
