My name is Jeanie and as most of you know, I was to be married to Steve on July 19. Thankyou all for attending the "Celebration of Steven's Life", service, at the First Baptist Church of Cocoa Beach. He will forever be remembered for his generosity, unselfishness, devotion to the ANYTHING related to CBHS athletic activities, from alumni participation (100%) to past and current athletic events-from Girls golf, attending all JV and Varsity football games,chaperoning the cheerleaders across state for finals,- a remarkable, unselfish moving force and determination in making sure Scott Hardcastle (his best friend)and family, were deservingly honored with the "stone marker" in front of the school, in honor of Scott's beloved brother Mike Hardcastle;his undying participation on the CBHS Alumni Committee- with his coordinating the Alumni football game, BBQ, and the followup Teen Town Dance. He NEVER STOPPED GIVING !! His health problems "slowed" him down, but certainly did not stop the "show from going on". We will miss you more than words will ever say, and I grieve for his passing, even though he will no longer suffer in silence-as he was so accustomed to doing. His concern was about EVERYONE else, Steve would tell you he was always "fine". Such concern, such love, such giving and I am truly proud he was such a loving part of my life. I have been asked to continue on his seat, to help on the CBHS Alumni Committee for future gatherings, and I am truly honored that you all thought enough of me to ask. Steve has some LARGE shoes to fill, because he was, in fact "LARGER THAN LIFE". We will all miss his flirtations, and hugs and being there when we needed him. Thank you and God Bless.
