Steve Petro was a wonderful man, who I had the pleasure of knowing for just over a year. His friendliness, warmth, and kindness will be what I remember of him always. Some called him Mr. Cocoa Beach because of his desire to keep the alumni of Cocoa Beach High School aware of their connection to this school. He organized the yearly football game between the alumni each year. I know his spirit of enthusiasm for this project will be missed, but I know the tradition will live on in his memory. I am so thankful for having met him and reuniting with so many others who shared this unique experience of going to Cocoa Beach High School.
