We called it "Doo-dah" for short, which resulted in my brother referring to all dogs as "doo-dahs" until he started school and had the error of his ways pointed out to him by the class bully, who stuck his head down the toilet and made him say "dog" a hundred times whilst flushing repeatedly.
Splendid. I shall look forward to that.
