My name is Ken Honda. My wife had some ancestors that homesteaded in the St. Vrain Valley (1862-1880) before moving to the Highland Lake Community, to a pre-emption farm about three miles southeast of highland Switch. Their names were David White and Margaret (Grafton) White. They had 4 children, 1 being George Orva White.
