I always thought the name St. Vrain was pronounced "Saint Va-Rain". I was reading a book the other day- I think it was Hiram Chittenden but I lost the page. In any event someone spells it Savaray. That got me to thinking because on the Saint, the French would drop the T and N and on the Vrain the n would be dropped so... Sa V rai. In any event, what is the proper say to pronounce St.Vrain? Thanks.
