judy/ thanks for taking the time to read the piece. the people who are just "making it" will soon find themselves below the poverty line. the insidious nature of the ever widening gap between rich and poor is slowly swallowing the lower end of the middle class, by the time we get there it will be too late for us to get unstuck from just "making it" in the most fabulously rich country in the history of man. that's the ultimate problem.
