I just started watching Stargate SG1 and I have some questions, I hope there are Stargate fans here.
Why the first 5 seasons are so different from the latest seasons(like season 7 or 8)?
The stories are so different and I have problems since I'm watching all the seasons together.
For example Carter is not exactly a great or interesting character, she was good in the first seasons, but in season 6, 7 and 8 she's always front centre with stories that have nothing to do with the original plot.
And where the hell is Anderson now? Did he leave the show?
I suppose he left the show for a while, if also Anderson left, what is the reason?
Why all the actors of Stargate leave the show, also the actress playing Janet left, why is that?
Is there some sort of evil being working there?
