Posted by cinemarat If you've never seen John Carpenter's "The Fog" on the big screen and you live anywhere near Durham, NC, then you should come out to the Carolina Theatre on Friday, October 20th, 2006. Not only are they running "The Fog" on the big screen on 35mm, but Adrienne Barbeau herself will be there to introduce the film. No kidding! In fact, once a month they show double features of old 70s and 80s horror films, too! I admit I'm not impartial- I live in Durham and I love this old fashioned theatre. I've been going there for years now. But I do think these programs are terrific and I hope they're a huge success so they will do more of this type of stuff in the future. And the chance to see Adrienne Barbeau host the film and do a post Q & A session is awesome!
