You are sooo right....crappy movies over-glorified! Although, I am too scared to watch Saw II as of yet (after part 1) but some of last years great pics...in my opinion were...crash, revenge of the sith (best since empire strikes back) and Hostage which was totally underated.
I am partial to sci-fi and like thrillers but nerves can't take too scary lately
