Posted by PaulT on July 22, 2004, 6:22 pm The Arsenal midfielder has won an army of male and female fans as the star of raunchy Calvin Klein underpants ads. Those admirers will surely increase after his decision to pose for the August edition of America's Out. Ljungberg, as famous for fashion statements as he is for goals, keeps his clothes on for the Out cover and for two photos inside. But the Swede told the magazine that his campaign for Calvin Klein had brought him a secret spin-off - requests from fans to sign their underwear. Asked if they were gay or straight, Ljungberg replied: "Both, I'm sure. I usually don't ask someone who requests an autograph 'Do you like boys or girls?'." Ljungberg, who has just had his contract with Calvin Klein renewed, comes from a fashionable family. He said: "Both my parents are interested and my brother Filip, who lives with me, is in fashion school in London." He admitted the toughest part of being a footballer was injury. "This past season I broke two ribs and two bones in my right hand. It makes it hard to shake hands - not to mention certain other things."
