Posted by Skinn on July 22, 2004, 3:08 pm My own personal situation is that I work a full time job for shite money, I am currently looking for a 2nd job (something bollox like Pizza delivery in the evenings or something) to fund the fact that I have recently been chucked out my house by my old dear and living with a mate in a complete Dive. Got a very high maintanance girlfried and also play amateaur footy in sussex on saturdays, which brings home £20 a game (providing we win). Although I play to play not for money. I'm not complaining that i have it harder than anyone else but everyone has there own difficutlties and you've got to sort yourself out before anything really. Buying season tickets just can't be done when your in certain situations. I love Tottenham more than anything, and one day I hope to become a season ticket holder (and own a merc). I agree that the membership deal is good and Season tickets are RIDICULOUSLY overpriced but to suggest that a member is less devoted to the club than a season ticket holder is frankly bollox and unfair. Is this also to suggest that a member is more devoted than someone that lives miles and miles away (possibly in another country) but the blood in there veins run blue and white and they follow avidly from a far. No one forces you to buy a season ticket, but I know I would love to have one as opposed to being a member! I'm a member because I have to be and i'll get to games when I can! That's not to say I'm not following avidly from where ever I am at the time of games! Spurs United mate!! We all want what's best together!! xxx

Interesting comments read on this subject, and an interesting topic raised in the article (if a little pathectic on the authors behalf).
