No one can say anything about a Jnani or enlightened being. We do not know the design, and as such nothing can be ruled out even reincarnation. My interpretation of what the sages mean is that the mind is destroyed and as such there is no difference between seeing another day or another birth. All these things will be known only when you reach that inner self.
