Hi Marty. I'm in Edinburgh. Can't say that I'm familiar with Tolle but I liked what Wikipedia had to say about him so I've ordered "The Power of Now" from my local library. I'll give you a shout back when I've read that. I've been looking at a lot of 4th Way material (Gurdijeff, Ouspensky) recently, and Buddhism before that, and even some channeled sources (Ra, Cassiopeans) and there's just no verifiable external answers out there as to why we're here and what the heck is going on. And that may be very much "the point", otherwise we'd all have an answer rather than spending a lifetime looking for one. But awareness / being present in the moment seems common to all, so I think this is just where I want to go next. Best Wishes, Peter
