Aham is the ego in literal meaning. But the spiritual meaning it is only an expression of the true self which is Atman or spirit. The expression is illusory. The one that expresses is formless and non-dual which is spirit or Ataman. Therefore one has to search not Aham, or 'I' but the invisible expresser.The spiritual wisdom is discovering and realzing the fact that 'I' is not the self but Ataman is the true self. And learn to view and judge the world view on the standpoint of spirit as self to realize the whole human experince is illusion. To have a non-religious self-realization in lesser time and effort one has to adopt FORMLESS SPIRITUALITY.
