Days, weeks, months and years go by and I start to figure out what it is I'm looking for. Before, I had not decided on just what I was searching for. All I knew is that I had an emptiness inside of me that could be filled in a spiritual way. I was looking for what could fill that hole. I sought teachers but never really stated what I was looking for, so I left myself open to just about anything. I was looking for someone to share the inner secrets of my soul with. Tonight, I have it narrowed down. I am looking for a teacher in the Perennial Tradition or Philosophy, or a teacher of Sufism. I believe this is where my spiritual pursuits have brought me so far. The teacher I'm looking for can guide me into realms of higher consciousness, while also imparting knowledge and wisdom. What would it take to achieve this?
