Posted by Raphael on 7/20/2006, 7:10 am To those people who do look for a teacher, you should be careful whom you choose. Sometimes, people with apparent goodness can follow their own not always selfishless goals. I myself made that mistake. For my whole life, I had been having nightmares about monsters (dinosaurs, ghouls, vampires, and well... monsters from hell if you want) killing off my friends, family; destroying whole cities. I then met this girl, with whom I talked about the dreams. She had some experience with esoteric and spirituality, and recommended I do a regression therapy. That is when you go back into your past lives to discover what is still bothering you. I went to this witch who was very friendly, with a very strong aura, and she did the regression therapy. What I saw, helped me overcome those dreams, and I haven't been getting them since. But I was changed. I was aggressive, obnoxious, and most of all: incapable of feelings. I had become her prisoner. And at that time, I thought I had found a teacher. It's only because of a lot of self sacrifice from my best friend that I turned "normal" again, after which I cut all ties with them. The process of becoming normal again involved an 8 hour praying and cleansing session. You wouldn't believe how infested I was with lower energy beings. (I even got to fight one, my right arm, which was used for attacking and banishing the creature, swelled up and turned completely blue the next day.) Life has taught me that one shouldn't go looking for a teacher. When you are ready, a teacher will come find you. And a real teacher knows which student he is supposed to teach. I went to test myself for AIDS very recently. I am not worried that I have AIDS, having had 2 girlfriends in my life. But I felt the urge to go there nevertheless. The doctor who treated me had stones and minerals on her desk. Once I saw that, a connection opened up between her and me, and the test became secondary, almost unneccessary. In a half hour, she taught me more than that witch taught me in a month. I know it sounds incredible, but that's what a teacher does. A teacher is catalyst. A good teacher will trigger something inside you, which will make you advance on your spiritual path. One should also differntiate teachers, and fellow students of life who may be more advanced than you are. Sometimes, those students will pose as teachers, but since their own understanding of the universe is not complete, they tend to teach something incomplete as something complete. In the end, you won't be satisfied, because your soul knows better than your brain. What I'm trying to say is: don't rush into anything. One thing people don't realize is that time is on our side. We have loads of it. Take your time, go your own road with the help of your friends until someone pops into your life. You will now who your teacher is, when they are standing infront of you. Peace of mind and heart to everyone. Raph

I've noticed that more and more people are looking for guidance in these times...
I got into drugs because it enabled me to sleep dreamlessly. I suffered alot because of those dreams. Sometimes, my own cries for help would wake me in the middle of the night. I needed help. Desperately. Dreams were seeping through my drugged brain, and even the most potent marijuana couldn't make me sleep "safe" again.
But she tried to seduce me, and when that failed, sent her accolyte to do it for her.
Both of them wanted to drink my blood, and they talked openly about it.
At that time, I thought it was "normal". She is the teacher, I'm the student, I do what she says.
