Steve Marshall Wonders what with all these radio stations closing or being renamed in Britain and staff being laid off due to ermmm employee replacement guidelines(I made that phrase up hehe) if the British Radio Industry and it's champions are realising what many of us have said for years..that British Commercial Radio no longer connects with it's audience, and that advertisers see British radio as a waste of money spend...
Maybe also the management and DJs and News people in British commercial adio have yet to realise that Local Radio should mean that local radio, rather than radio run by accountants from a industrial unit miles away from their broadcast area.. Thankfully I'm well away from it, helping run a radio station in Spain, no suits no Bullshit oh yes and smiles great audience figures and advertising!
