G'day George, I was Station Manager at South Coast Radio at the time, reporting to Tom Joyce and the Board. I remember, very clearly, the day I was summoned to Tom's business in Cork and asked to explain a 'trailer' that was played which swore at ERI, he had received a complaint from ERI.
I assured Tom that no such promo existed, and it was clearly a ploy to encourage the Board to restrict our creativity.
Imagine my surprise, when upon my arrival at the station and I shared my experence with Keith York, he produced a NAB cart, played it, and I heard the promo. Yorkie felt it slipped into the 'on air' studio cart rack by mistake.
Needless to say, I made a copy, and Yorkie bulk erased the cart, so, George, it probably was aired more than once.
I still have the two versions of the jingle, plus the other 'private variants' of promos and jingles, they are killer.
Thanks for reminding me of a day when my bowels turned to water.
