Well we have come to the end of the Radio Nova tribute weekend. I would like to take this chance to thank everyone who got in touch over the course of the weekend to thank us for the memories of music, ads and news.
We decided to finish with the song that was playing when Nova got raided - 'Rip it up' so I hope that everyone got a bit teary eyed at that.
If you missed some of it over the weekend, the ads featured Barbarellas, Avonmore, CDL Coal, Fiat Ritmo, Irish TV Rentals, Bramac, Disco Nova, Harry Moore, Funtrek, Kempo Karate, KFC, and a few others.
In news stories, it was the Northern Ireland peace talks, the jailing on Dominic McGlinchey, the cost of electricity coming down, and the annoucment of forthcoming radio licensing.
We hoped that we recreated nova in an accurate way and that the weekend was enjoyed by all. It was the best way that we could pay tribute to Chris Cary.
The Radio Nova Tribute team.
