There is nothing wrong in tributes and commemorating dates, and actually doing something. Well done to the lads in Dublin.
It is 25 years now since the 83 raids. Amazing!! Where does the time go to.
I remember being by the radio that night at 6pm listening to the end of the broadcast and the people in the street, and thinking it was all over...
And it turned out to be a publicity stunt!! Superb...
Listening to the old tapes now from 25 years ago, makes you wonder what has happened to radio.
Amazingly it is 20 years next year since the launch of Atlantic 252, and listening to old tapes of that, it was pretty good in the earlier days. They had one hell of an audience.
