My personal belief is that WiFi (or - Wireless!) will be a fast growing area over the next couple of years - let alone a hundred years from now!
Massive single point TXrs will be a thing of the past sooner rather than later.
DAB is already out of date as such - and does it sound better than good old FM? or does it just make better commercial sense allowing more channels on a given frequency?
I think the future is reasonably rosy for small webcasters who will be capable of networking over a series of WiFi systems - but - how will the royalties issue pan out on people who wish to do it legally?
Mark is on the nail - web fed stuff will be the way - but who knows what technological gismos will be available so far into the future....
How many homes even had electricity 100 years ago???
