Why is it,, that so many good people go before their time? My mother of 64 years young on Jan 10th 4 days before my birthday,, and now Chris Cary at the age of 61, both young at heart and both still had many years to achieve things?
But what they leave behind for us all, are great memories and happy times of the past..
What great memories I will cherish of the mid 1980s, 1984 through to 1986, when our radio would be tuned to 738AM here in South Liverpool, listening to Nova. From Tony Mckenzie during the week, to the Weekly Top 40 with Rick Dees at the weekend, on Nova, my mums fave song at the time was Stevie Wonders-I just called to say I love you.
What a start to the year, it beggars belief.
