Yep, a big shame.
The only reason I go to any venue in town is because of the live music - I tend not to drink pints as it's too expensive when I'm out 3/4 nights a week.
Postcards was different as they are the only venue selling that gold plated Leffe Belgian beer I've come to like, oh well no more then.
While I can't speculate on the thinking behind their decision, perhaps Postcards think they'll keep filling the pub anyway on a Monday night.
Perhaps try the Winchester again - they were open to a Monday night music attraction when I spoke to them about a private venture I was thinking of last year.
