Posted by Katie Good for you for rescuing a pony! It sounds as if you're doing a great job with her. Apart from using aloe to soothe her skin, maybe try using something called "halter fuzzies" when she needs to wear the halter again. They come in either fleece or sheepskin (sheepskin is thicker and softer - though more expensive).. and this, coupled with a proper fitting halter, should do the trick. Take care & good luck! Katie
