Hi I am going to be in an english schooling show on saturday. I do not own a hunt coat and really can not afford to buy one. My question is, is it okay to go into the show ring with just a show shirt or is a hunt coat absolutley neccecary? Am I going to look stupid without one? The rules of the show are not very strict since it's just a schooling show for fun. do you think the judges will care? Also, would it be impolite to ask some friends who are not showing on saturday if I can borrow their coats for the day. I have not been riding very long and this is my first show so I dont really know about the etiquite? can someone fill me in?
