Posted by Katie Looking back on my post, I see that I forgot a few things... Aside from the first list, you'll also need something called a show bow. It keeps your hair neat and tidy. Put your hair into a very low ponytail and then braid it, if it's long enough. You then make a bun. The show bow net fits over the bun... the clip gets secured above that, just above where the elastic is that you used to make the ponytail. When you've finished, the bottom of the bun / net should rest either at or above the collar of your show jacket. If your hair is super short you can even get away without doing all of this! Just lean over, arrange your hair underneath a hair net and then put your helmet on. It's wise to experiment at home well in advance, instead of waiting 5 minutes before your first class and getting in a panic. Above all, remember to smile.
