You have no reason to be concerned. You have every right to choose your trainer based on personality, professionalism, knowledge without being mistreated by a former trainer. This trainer sounds a bit insecure of her own ability, thereby attempting to humiliate you with her unprofessional attitude. Ignore her and if it continues don't be afraid to talk to the 'powers that be' at your riding establishment. I'm sure the people in charge would rather hear about such dissention than have you seek another barn to train at. They will make every effort to amicably find a solution to your problem.
