Hi I am 12 years old and do the big eq, but right now while my horse is on injury i am riding a green 5 year old horse that I now just trained. The horse is very very lazy about picking his legs off the ground, so he hits many rails down. I have been working on making him rock back onto his hocks before he jumps, and it seem to be working. I have also been doing a lot of flat work with him, but I was just wondering if you had any tips for me, and if you think that there is anything better to do.
