So what's up with this freaky display connection problem that causes my screen to go off like a tv getting lousy reception every once in a while? After this started happening, a friend with similar problems showed me how to "massage" the sides of the screen to correct this "documented design flaw" in the connector.
I have never read anything on the Apple site concerning this. Thankfully, my hinges have not gone out on this machine. Still, This is a major annoyance with an otherwise fabulous computer. It seems to happen whenever I am showing something to a client , which is rather embarrassing and unprofessional.
If anyone could point me towards a solution, even just the part that needs replacing, I could do it myself, most likely. This machine is my workhorse, and I don't plan on scrapping it for a while.
