The screen turns on, but just displays dancing colors and patters in an unceasing deluge of narcotic induced rage... or something like that. The hinges seem to still be ok, as they hold up the display where I stick it, as long as I don't try to have it opened at an angle of about 30 degrees or less.. then it just falls closed ... is this what happens with the Wallstreet machines as well? Anyone know how I can make Apple fix my machine? -Kimball Larsen

I bought my Lombard in the Fall of 99 as I was returning to school to get my bachelors in Computer Science, and wanted a reliable and portable machine to code on that would last a long time.
