Posted by Stewart Cauley When I attach an external monitor, instead of mirroring the PB screen, I end up with the two monitor set-up. The system, obviously, ends up on the PB screen and so I can't get to the system to change the monitors control panel to mirror. Is there some way to do this? I've tried started up from a CD and booting with extensions off but I always end up with the two monitor set up.

My screen is dead but I want to clean off my drive before I send the PB off for repair (hinges, power adapter, and probably the video cable) I want to clean off my drive.
