Late Bloomer Smokers

I'm 46. I smoked about 5-10 a day from age 15-22, then quit got into fitness. I'm good shape (BP 110/70; pulse 58). I run, bike, etc. I started smoking again at age 42, due to stress/anxiety and sexual reasons. This helped. Because of my concerns about fitness and health I kept the habit very low (about 3 a week). About 6 months ago I switched to electronic cigarettes and have not looked back. I enjoy them a lot, perhaps even more than regulars. I have about one smoking sessions a day. In my opinion, they are much safer than regulars, though more data needs to be collected from an objective source (neither manufacturers nor the FDA).
