Interesting. It seems more common for women to quit smoking when they start having kids; with some going back to the habit only years later. What caused your wife to start smoking shortly after your kids were born? Did the rest of her family or friends smoke at the time?
In any case, I do agree that smoking together can bring more intimacy.
