Why don't you just relax and start enjoying the habit? Just let the amount you smoke become a natural part of your day. Your body and lungs will tell you now when you need to smoke. When you need to smoke, smoke. Don't let yourself become stressed. You and your new GF have a new common bond, smoking. Smoke and enjoy your new habit.

: Hello
:
: Well here's my story.
: I'm 27 and went onto
: another message board
: similar to this one. I
: always smoked
: occassionally (once a
: month) but never
: inhaled.
:
: Someone on that board
: gave me step by step
: instructions on how to
: inhale and I was really
: enjoying the taste. But
: I wanted to limit myself
: to 2 to 3 a day. Within
: a week or so, I was up
: to 10 a day. Then
: within three months, I
: was up to 1 to 1.5 packs
: per day.
:
: My girlfriend, who I
: started to date after I
: started smoking, has
: always been a smoker.
: She's somewhat the
: reason I started because
: I had a crush on her and
: didn't know how to chat
: with her during work
: hours. She smokes
: anywhere between 1 to 2
: packs a day.
:
: Well, I've tried to cut
: down my consumption to 1
: pack a day over the past
: week, but over the past
: two days, I've smoked
: more than I did before.
: I actually realized I
: smoked 3.5 packs in 2
: days. (35 per day -
: packs in Canada have 25)
:
: Has this happened to
: anyone? If so, would it
: be wise to use nicotine
: gum or would this
: increase my addiction
: even more?
