It is not uncommon for a mid western women to hunt deer, shoot well and process wild game. There aren't too many young women that can clean a chicken though. I thought my grand daughters would be "grossed out" when they came over on "chicken day". Withing 15 min Maggie (8) was gutting a chicken and Willow (5) was plucking feathers. A hands on biology lesson. Proud of them. As of today-26 birds down and 13 to go.
