Robin, Asils, in particular, and English gamefowl are the original ingredients in Cornish. I'll try and get some pics for ya with humans. Bear in mind that Asils run from around 4 lbs to over 12 lbs, depending on the breed. Some, like the Malays and Saipans, can get over 30 inches tall. Most oriental gamefowl are over 8 lbs, talking cock weight here. It's like a different chicken world and nearly as many breeds as the common type. Asils are devided into two classes, Reza types are the small ones, under 3 kilos(6.6 lbs. And Kulang types are over 3 K. Most common ones are the Reza types and within that spectrom are the Siyah Rampuri which are from the Rampur region of India. Siyah means black. That's the kind I breed.
I couldn't find pics of Saipans or Maylays with humans, but here's one of a young Brazilian. The human is small of stature, but you can see the bird is pretty big.
This one is a Madras Asil. Check out the size of his legs. A very powerful bird.
Here is a Puerto Rican Rajah. These are Reza type Asils and are used in competition in PR. Note the trimmed feathers and bare breast and legs.
These last 2 pics are also Reza types and raised by friends here in the US mainland.
