I have electricity out there, but I think it's too far away for the baby monitor to work. I can't put heat where they'll be sleeping because I have small portable coops 2x2x4 inside & it's not safe to put heating elements. That's been the problem right along. although being so small means they're less drafty & easier to keep warm in. I'll keep checking on them until one or so, then they'll be on their own until five. They range pretty far out from one another even when it's cool & overcast during the day now, so I think they are holding their own heat pretty well. It's just so weird that it's stayed so cold this late. I mean, we're never very hot here, but this is a bit much. Well, you can't control the weather. I hope I never have to do this again. Even thought there's only five of them- geesh! It feels like fifty now they are big! At least they're really, really friendly. Thanks guys!
