Actually, if you think about it, if egg prices for grocery store producers went up, it would make it more competitive for us. We on the small scale who get no subsidies and with feed prices these days just about break even selling eggs. It might not be all bad. Plus, I agree with Robin on the issue of getting them out of those little boxes. No creature should be treated like that. I'm not radical or anything (I don't think) but it's pretty extreme how awfully they are treated.
