Usually if the hen and rooster each have feathered necks, you won't get turkens. If the hen has turken blood in her, you may only get 1 out of a 100 as a turken. Hay, if that turns out to be a hen, you'll fall in love with her. The first one I had was from a hatch like yours. I thought it was the ugliest thing.
But as she grew, she followed me around and started talking (in chicken talk) to me. She had her own personality. And talk about laying eggs...she was an egg laying machine.
