I know what you mean, See my husband daughter had this dog a shar pei and it was not register and she said he would make a lot of money for her I call this a back yard breeding, (the idea of breeding a pure bred is to make it more to the standard)and I suppose if I bred my bulldog I would of been one to but I never did the bulldogs has to be c sectioned and the bulldog don't take being on the back or being put out so I didn't breed her but I am clad I didn't I never spayed her either she never was near any other dogs and with me all the time so we didn't have strays when I walked her always on lead or she would take off. It has only been since I had a unexcected pregnancy got the right frame of mind and I should of had this long before. Our two males are fixed they don't roam but it is cheaper and the female is fixed so there is no chance to have pups again.
I see mostly people breed to have pups of mixed breeds and don't care where the pups go my pups I told all they can return them any age and I will find them a home. I meant it. so now the only think I breed is bunnies and this is to end I am getting to much pain from a herniated dish and winter time luging water is getting to be a pain LITERALLY my hose doesn't work if it is all froze up.
Don't you just want to smack the people and ask why ever are they thinking when they breed a animal?
Our pound also has the dog spayd or nuetered before you get it or you HAVE TO FIX it or they take it back the price encludes the cost of spaying so you don't spend more to do it. The said if you can't afford the cost of adoption you can't afford the cost of a animal but I don't think this I buy 50 lbs of dog food for $17. but I would agree if it gets sick or what ever could hapeen or shots you can't afford you are better off not getting a animal.
I am on this site DOGSTER and they have people that can't afford to take their animal to the vet granted I have been in dire straights and have had to distroy a animal because I could not take it to a vet it was very sick or injured so I did the deed myself this is very hard to do and I don't reconmend this. We have since found a vet that will put a animal down for cost of the meds no office visit so now that is what we do.
don't want to get you started but I know what you mean.
