Hi Berniece, Welcome to The Easy. Always a good Idea to start your own thread, unless you are joining in a conversation. This thread is several months old.
To answer your question though, yes you can vaccinate at eight months. Actually, after 2 weeks. there is also a vaccine for younger chicks. You can find the vaccine you are looking for at most feed stores. If you have a problem, give a shout. Easiest way to vaccinate is to pick them off the roost at night and have a helper hold them......P
