What Rachel said about the working model is a good idea. We have a couple who are doing that here in Moncton New Brunswick. Where they live farm animals are not allowed but they are running a year long test pilot to see how people respond and as far as I know everyone has been responding positively. I have four chickens too and I just love them! but I am lucky to be outside the city limits. Most of my neighbours don't even know I have them until I tell them.
