Kids will be kids, LOL. You have probably done all that`s needed for the birds wounds. The feathers will grow back soon enough. He/she can go back with the group as soon as you feel comfy with it. Just be watchfull that cannibalism doesn`t get started as they are attracted to blood. Everything is good......P
