Hi Dick, welcome to The Easy. Several factors enter into your problem. Things like moulting and shorter daylight hours are the main things, but consider that moulting is a stressfull event for the birds and that new faces have been added, which also adds to the stress factor, and it`s easy to see why your girls have slowed to nearly a stop. Not a pleasant time for them and entirely normal. A couple things you might try to ease the situation, a light and timer in the coop giving them at least 14 hours of daylight, even if it`s artificial, usually helps egg production, but still bear in mind that moulting is a factor, even if most of their feathers still seem to be intact. You can also increase their protien to help with feather growth. A few (3-4) morsels of dry catfood, 2-3 days a week, per bird, will aid in feather growth. Hope this helps a little.....P
