Hello, Rachel Old idea from my 80 year old MOM. Force a new molt. Take away all feed and water nothing to eat or drink for two days. only enough water on third day to survive. Fourth day full water and just enough feed to survive. Only let her eat just a minute.This should shock her into a new moult. Bring back food slowly over the next 5 days. Feed high protein feed then see if her system has rebooted. Mom said they would force molt older hens and it would bring back their young look and attitude,Plus eggs. Computer or chicken REBOOT hows that for new idea.
