hen not laying with poopy butt

i rescued a hen from a farm and she was not well, covered with mites and poopy butt. i got the mites under control and she has put on weight and looking good, but the poopy butt continues and no eggs. i tried a 5 day solution in her water for ecoli, but that doesn't seem to be the problem. Any ideas what i can do?
