I am finally thinking about taking some of my roosters to be butchered. It should have been done a long time ago but I am having a hard time with the thought of it. Anyway - I have heard that if the bird is older they are really tough and they may not even be worth eating. How old is too old?
Also someone just gave me a bunch of bantum's and several are roosters and I have plenty of them already also. What do people do with banty roos?
